Gerhard and Katarina were married in 1869 and had 12 children. In 1924 at the age of 80 years, Gerhard emigrated to Dalmeny, Saskatchewan with his son Jacob, where his son Peter Wiensz and family lived. In 1926 he moved to Dallas, Oregon to join his eldest son Gerhard.

Peter and Maria married after Peter finished his Russian Government Service. They worked on Peter's father's farm unitil 1913, when they emigrated to Dalmeny, Saskatchewan, Canada. Later they owned farms near Swift Current and Speedwell, Saskatchewan. In 1943, Peter, Maria, and their youngest son, Alvin, moved to Yarrow, B.C., where they operated a truck farm on Majuba Hill, above Eckert Road on Vedder Mountain, next to his son Peter and Nettie Wiens's place. In 1951 they retired to Clearbrook on Old Yale Road, near the Clearbrook M.B. Church.

Great Grandmother Maria Wall, (b. December 5, 1867, Grazwide, Moloshnov, Taurien, Russia, daughter of Kornelius Wall and Sara Klassen, d. 1922/1923, Russia )

Gerhard and Maria married on December 28, 1889, in Herzenburg, Russia. Of their eleven children, only seven lived to become adults. The Peters family lived in Dawlekanowa, Russia. After the Revolution, they moved to Slavgorod, South Siberia. Great Grandmother Maria died in 1923/1924 in Russia, at the age of 56/57, having been maried to Great Grandfather Gerhard Peters for 33/34 years. Great Grandfather remarried in 1924 to Anna Dirkson. In 1926, Great Grandfather and Anna emigrated to Canada, living with their eldest daughter, Grandmother Maria, and Grandfather Peter Wiens in Dalmeny, Saskatchewan. After this, they lived with their eldest son, Gerhard Peters, in Hepburn and Fairholme, Saskatchewan.
